It's not corruption. Scolari is just stubborn, and past it, imo. Before the nt, he got the team he was coaching to be relegated, in the brasileiro. He got the job because Mano was even worse, and because he was the coach in 2002.
But was Mano all that bad? I mean I know results didn't go for him but as far as I could see he had a vision. Every young player in the side were brought in by him.
Maybe CBF were too haste in dismissing him and hiring Scolari.

Most of the players Scolari happily takes credit for were introduced by Mano. All Scolari has done has dropped some of them, brought in some of his mates, made Brazil harder to beat but ultra negative and heavily reliant on 22 year old Neymar. Stifle Neymar and Brazil have pretty much had it.

From Dunga to Scolari. BR needs to change their coach to someone who doesn't suck ass first.

How the fuck did players like Fred and Jo make it to the NT is beyond me.
From Romario, Ronaldo, Rivaldo to Fred Jo and Hulk...dear oh dear. I bet the rest of the world are quaking in their boots.

It sucks but Fred is the best of a bad bunch. Adriano and Pato was the future but they went to shits.

You have to admit he has left out so many more deserving players. I mean how can you just ignoring players such as Diego Alves, Filipe Luis, Coutinho, Firminho and Lucas Moura even. It's easy to say they haven't peeformed but neither do Hulk or Dani Alves. At least most of the youngsters have room for improvement but how much better can donkeys like Fred and Jo become, you can polish turd but it still is turd.

I agree Scolari made some error's but IMO it's not so much with his list maybe 2 or 3 players but after the confederations he should of tested out some new players, for example a Coutinho or Firmino (who I believe can play as a #9, correct me if I'm wrong) to evaluate. I understand his decision making in basically picking the confederation cup squad as that what he has work with and that was always going to be his foundations. Scolari was under time constraints to be fair. Mano wasted the first 2 years of the cycle.

Mano was pretty bad. We was very disorganized and all over the place. Scolari at least has added a bit more structure.
In his defence though he built a team from scratch. Dunga left him an old team that needed a complete overhaul and I thought he did that adequately enough. Yes, the team lacked cohesion but a young, new team generally do. Scolari does have a shrewd ability to unite and mould a group but he seriously lacks an eye for talent or his egoistic nature makes him like that.

Paulinho is coming under fire and it's deserved. He's been really poor. Scolari is the type to stick to his guns but in 02 and for Portugal he made the necessary tactical change.
At this point 2 or 3 changes need to be done. 2 of Hernanes, Willian and Fernandinho need to start or all 3. Maicon needs to start as well. I trust him more than I trust Alves.

Definitely Maicon over Alves and that's not to say Maicon is not past it. Significantly less error prone too.

Yes Paulinho hasn't played like he can but hernanes is not as mobile and a liability otherwise, I'd say sure switch it up. I'd rather Ramires because he isn't as much a defensive liability and immobile as hernanes. As Gustavo's partner in this team you need to defend and rotate both on offense and defense and hernanes is good with ball at his feet but is type to sit as a strict CM and that shit is outdated.

Ramires has speed to burn and has a terrific engine BUT he's so poor technically that I'd be worried playing him next to Gustavo. He's been practically a liability for Chelsea this year committing incessant dangerous fouls and losing possession. That bad that he's lucky to make the squad IMHO.

So this is the dilemma when benching Paulinho who hasn't been at his best. May be best to let him play thru it, not sure as I don't get to seem them in training.

Fernandinho can play the Paulinho role but I would also add Hernanes and change the system. The width will come from the FB.

Fernandinho has limitation that makes that specific role difficult for him

What limitations? I've never seen him play until he joined Man City and he's had a brilliant season as the sole holding midfielder for them.
