I dont think Germany played well (barely won against USA and Algeria, okay against France). This was more meltdown of Brazil than skill of Germany. Unfortunately it still gives Germany a huge psycological advantage over Holland and Argentina at a possible final.
You are ofc entitled to your opinion, but so am I in telling you that it is quite frankly utter bs and fails in even the simplest form of logic.
Just for the record, before tonight's defeat, Brazil biggest lost was 1-6 to uruguay in 1920.

And Cafu was asked to leave by the cbf president, jose maria marin, when he went to the dressing room to show support to the players. He asked scolari, who gave permission, to then be sent out by marin...
No, he was purring out in praise of the defence before the WC and was adamant they would reach the final.Didn't Pele say this team was uninspiring and weak from the beginning of the tournament? Guess he was right
There's a deep seated erroneous problem with the Brazil midfield that probably dates back to 1982. You simply cannot afford to have a midfield that are solely there to hack or protect the defence. No wonder the long ball was the favoured route and retaining possession was nigh on impossible.

The player development has to change right the way down from the grassroots. If this is not a wakeup call then I don't know what is.There isn't that much talent in central midfield though. The only midfielders I think can play in a possession based system are Hernanes and Lucas Leiva and probably Fernandinho. The player development has to change
