No exaggeration; I honestly believe this Bayern side could win the Bundesliga without a manager.
Question is if Ancelotti can bring back ChL glory. As I see it, it's dead even between us, Real and Bayern. Getting rid of Pep's pathetic European away form is already a step up.

You need a coach because if it ever will happen, that everybody is available, somebody has to tell who plays. Robben, Coman, Costa, Sanches, Kimmich and Boateng have to get a lot of playtime, too.

Yeah, I know. It was more in regards to tactics and how gelled Bayern look at this point.

Yes they were very impressive yesterday, but guys, it was Werder Bremen after all and Guardiola also beat them 6:0 at the Allianz. Also, last season's opener saw Guardiola's Bayern thrashing HSV Hamburg 5:0 if I am not mistaken.

So, three seasons ago it was 19 points, two seasons ago it was 10 points, and last season also 10 points. Only question is how many points will Bayern finish in front of 2nd place this season. My money is on over 10 points difference as well.

But the fight for places 2-4 makes it interesting. I suspect Dortmund, Leverkusen and Gladbach will fight for CL places, maybe Wolfsburg and Schalke as well. It seems no1 is reserved, no2 is Dortmund's to lose, and 3-4 places are there for the taking.

Gladbach was quite threatening, if it wasn't for Leno's superb face-saving (no pun intended), and twice by the way, Leverkusen would have conceded more. No wonder he is Germany's No.2 keeper, this guy is a great shot-saver.

Hahn was great as well as Kramer. This Gladbach team is no push-over at all. We'd better watch out.

It is always difficult to predict everything at the beginning of the season. What makes the Bundesliga interesting despite the lack of title challenge in the recent season was that you never could say where the most teams would end up when the season is finished. For me Gladbach looks really good - but they have been a mixed bag last year when great matches were followed by real bad ones. With Leverkusen it is about the same - just that they seem to have some notorious bottlers in front of goal. For me Wolfsburg could surprise, too, as they aren't distracted by European competition - a lot depends on Draxler and Gomez, but Gomez in the right set-up and with selfconfidence is good for 30 goals or even more.

Dortmund for me lacks the spine and the personalities - I am sure they will make a couple of real good matches but I am not so sure if they have the consistency.

Bayern's passing map from the first hour from Friday. Very good balanced...

That control at 1:45 was quite sexy. Big, strong and fast seems to describe him quite well, unstoppable to muscle off once he reaches top speeds. Heard he scores like a striker. What's his decision making and technique/passing like?

Good first half from Schalke, intense pressing that made Bayern extremely uncomfortable. Naldo is a beast. Goretzka and Konoplyanka were very good too.

However, expecting Schalke to lose steam in the second half. No team can press like that for 90 minutes.
