Watzke and a lot of other BuLi managers, and it's important to point out it's by far not just him, are making joke artists ouf of themselves over this issue. Worse than that, he camouflages his actual agenda, namely preserving the thinly veiled feudalism in football, with some sort of anti-corporatist rhetoric which in the case of being a rep of an elite club is laughable.

Even if he didn't have an agenda, which he does though, none of what he says makes any sense. By that logic, a club has to fuck around for 30+ years in the no man's land of the table or be an elevator-club to magically acquire the moral right to gather funding. Grandfathering much ?

Noone needs to like RB and I understand why people don't, but these statements are just ridiculous.
