Miniestadi doesn't exist anymore.

All these news should be taken with a grain of salt, but latest is:
Barcelona have now received news that will bring some piece of mind. As reported by MD, club sources have revealed that Limak, the construction company that is in charge of the Espai Barca project, has given assurances that the Spotify Camp Nou will be ready to host matches in May.

You know what I mean, the Cruyff stadium.

Yeah, I'm sure Limak will hurry up just for 2 games in May while they have the option to work in peace until August when the new season starts (actually we will return even later probably). No chance we return in May for 2 matches before the end of the season. Even Laporta doesn't belive that, nobody does.

Just go to Cornella if the amateurs didn't book Montjuic.

In the end the most logical solution would be to negotiate a new deal with Montjuic. If we move to a lower capacity venue like Romareda (which would work logistically sporting wise) we would run into issues with season ticket holders.

The ironic gaff is that the issue is now that we have too many home dates to fill. Had we not submitted any special request to LaLiga and just played a normal calendar, we probably wouldn't have had any issues.

Limak can say what they want. The city Barcelona will assess and judge if the stadium will be safe enough to receive 60.000 fans. It'll still be a construction site at least until summer 2026 and it will be difficult to greelight it because of safety concerns. So even if Limak says it's ready to play in, the city will be far more difficult to convince.

My guess today is, we start playing in the Camp Nou in the start of the new season. Laporta needs to find a solution with the people who booked Montjuic for concerts to keep playing the whole season in it. If they really allow us to return this season, it will be a pleasent surprise.

This explains the situation but nothing really new here, amateurs just didn't book Montjuic for the whole season. The worrying thing isn't just the last games of this season but no talk about booking Montjuic for 25/26 season. We could have multiple games next season without a stadium, good job Laporta. Again.

If we had Laporta back then, Camp Nou would have been built during Covid.
