Covering your bases, i see.

Whatever happens this season, Flick can't fail.

Also, thought you said Mbappe isn't a slam-dunk for RM as may seem? I don't actually disagree on that point btw, but now you have done a 180 all of the sudden.

No I agree on Mbape. He is not the world beater gullible folk think he is.
He is not an upgrade on Vinicius
But he is def. > than Rodrygo who he will replace in the XI in the same 'free' system Ancelotti is playing

Madrid are ahead now, and it will be hard for anyone taking over Barca now to win LaLiga

I am not covering any bases, since I am fairly confident we will see tenfold better football compared to Xavi gimball

There's a very easy benchmark. Xavi got 85 points this season. If we sign well (any decent DM, really) Flick needs to get 90+ irregardless of what Real does.

Xavi would have done it.

“The problem is the game plan, which is quite demanding. Now comes a new competition. You don't know how things are going. It might be more entertaining. But purely based on the data, we now have two more games in this competition. If the organizations in charge don't start thinking about players getting injured because they play too much, we have a problem. I ask that you consider reducing the number of games in order to have more attractive competitions.”

The coaches of all teams should unite and do more statements like Ancelotti does now. Uefa will continue to overload the calendar to make more money if the clubs and players continue to tolerate it.

One of my unpopular football opinion is that Real Madrid under Ancelotti are a badly coached side.

I just think it's the best players in the world often bailing it out. They'll quote this when they get another knockout trophy. Again, I'll bet it was down to the best players in the world, being the best players in the world, rather than Ancelotti's coaching

What he does better than nearly anyone is make big players feel comfortable within the setup, the man management.

Tactically, please don't gaslight me...

Imagine getting ass whooped 4-0 two times on Bernabeu in just 2 years. Individual quality differences considered in both matches, this is actually insane.

Ancelotti: “Last time we lost 0-4 to Barça, we won La Liga and the Champions League"

Believe it or not, this is not a fake quote!! He actually said this after the game, lol

Just a matter of time before he loses his job. He doesn't even have the classy calmness he had before anymore. I hope he stays as long as possible, this season fails miserably for Madrid with him on the bench.
