Ancelotti's main positive trait as a coach is to be that father like figure for the players. It's also his biggest fault because when he gets tactically outsmarted he is simply unable to adjust and usually relies on the same 13/14 players.

I don't think there is a single manager on the planet who could have won two champions leagues in three years playing the way they did. Spent 80% of the games on the ropes but found a way. His arm around the shoulder style allows individuals to shine. When that's not enough, he doesn't really have an answer.
