Carlo Ancelotti

Following his return in June 2021, it is currently his fourth in a row; his first tenure lasted from mid-2013 to mid-2015. Interestingly, the dismissal at the time was apparently not solely for sporting reasons after a title-less season. “It's impossible to only make good decisions in 30 years. For example, I had a bad experience here in Madrid after my first year. I was very close to renewing my contract. The club wanted to keep me, but I pushed too hard for my salary and they stopped the negotiations. That was a mistake, the worst one I could have made. But it allowed me to learn,” Ancelotti revealed.

I can't believe no one on his staff watched turdle play at PSG when Neymar was on the left. More pathetic Ancelotti can't see that turdle can never succeed as a 9.

Funny how criticism surrounding him has immediately been subdued since we dropped points, which has nothing to do with his coaching work.

football is ugly that way. Madrid more so.

Has nothing to do with you dropping points
More to do with going 7-0 and people waiting to see how he does at Anfield - loss there means top8 is only tougher to get into from thereonout and while wont be sacked till he actually crashes out or blows the league, people are not blind, in or outside the club

Going -8 this early isnt a good look at all no matter how you spin it
Zidane been in same place where there was a real threat of not making it out the CL group in 20/21
Which ironically also was somewhat injury related
Carlo problem is that we arguably played worse when players were all fit

If they send him away I do hope Zidane comes back and gets exposed. But willing to bet he doesn’t dare to touch this job with ten foot pole.

Agreed, I was mostly joking with the merry go round with Ancelotti and Zizou

People here loves to underrate both, but Perez second term was more underwhelming that Laporta's before those 2. His biggest success was his ability to bring them (back).
Alonso, sadly, seems like the next big thing. Although this are big shoes to fill.

As much as we dunked on him multiple times and even snitched a league from him with that Barca squad, he has 5 CL titles to his managerial career and is, safe to say, one of the greatest managers in the history of this sport

I'm very much more comfortable with a guy like Alonso who, although seemingly a good coach too, is less experienced and might choke in those moments of immense pressure that will inevitably come in Madrid

But it's midseason come on. Unless he fucks it up on all fronts this season the decision will probably be overturned. People will want him to stay if he manages to do something this season, although there are no signs of something such being possible with the football Madrid is playing of course anything can happen.
