Carlos Tevez

You're going to have some obscene quality in depth there, man o_O , upfront anyways.
Though i'm surprised you haven't been linked with many defenders or MFs, other than Beckham (lololol) and Puyol.

?

Lescott, Terry, Lucio, Luisao and Puyol.

Puyol has already said we aren't trying to sign him and he wants to stay.

I hate Tevez for wearing that stupid headgear thing when he signed. A crime against fashion and men.

Yeah .. it looks so stupid.
Man City now signed some good forwards.. but they must improve their defensive line too. !!

Ok I mispoke, I was generally talking about midfielders when I posted it, dunno why i also said defenders. But Terry and Puyol are not attainable I wouldn't think, Lescott and Lucio probably. Don't know much about Luisão transfer-wise though. But yeah if I were Hughes I'd go after a good attacking CM for depth, I think quite a few of your MF players are pretty defense-minded? Correct me if I'm wrong

Well Kompany, De Jong, Zabaleta and even Barry can play DM.

At CM we have Ireland, Barry, Elano and if Michael Johnson can get back to his best then we have a decent squad. But yeah, another quality CM would be ideal.

I would LOVE to have Lescott and Hangeland rotating with Onuoha and Kompany at CB. But Hangeland looks like he's staying at Fulham so I'd be happy with Lescott.

I'm like a kid in a sweet shop :D

First of all, congratulation to duckie, you got your self a fine striker in tevez :D though, he need to score more goals.

And for next move, adebayor, he is a bit lazy but he is a good one too, how much will adebayor cost?

As far as I concern, you have too many strikers in the squad, you have to get rid one or two of them. And I've seen your imaginary "tactic", tevez shouldn't be put in far right, he's not very good at that position, he's a center forward. Yes, he can play in far right, but it won't fulfill his potential if you put him there.

Adebayor is going to cost around £20 million and should be done soon. If we get him back to his best form then that is a snip.

We are going to sell a few players, Hughes has already said we are going to buy before we sell.

If Tevez plays CF with Adebayor, then Robinho would have to play LM. Which isn't going to happen.

And roque? you lads just bought him, it's impossible to play them all. And if you put one of them in the bench for few games, the press will start questioning you, also don't forget, they could bite you in the ass if you put him to long in the bench. Hope hughes can solve their ego.

He is a quality striker just what we needed a versatile striker who can play on the wings.

A quality striker?C'mon mate you must be thinking of a different player..he is a good player but he is not a quality striker and never will be he doesn't score enough for that tag IMO and he is a mercenary aswell don't be surprised if he says he loves ye and then requests a leave in say three years

Thats only in your opinion if he was not quality he would not have played for Manchester united.
I don't see why a person should stay where he doesn't feel wanted and doesn't get any game time, to go from a starter to a bench warmer in the space of a year for no apparent reason is a reason to leave.
Carlos Tevez is quality and being a top striker is not always about the amount of goals you score its about when you score them.
In the circumstances you score them in.

Mate Kleberson Djemba-Djemba Liam Miller we've had a few stinkers over the years ..Tevez is not in that category but he is not world class or even excellent he is decent! Thats a myth anyway I've comments from him before saying Fergie always wanted him and all this before YOUR interest came in..why?Because he is a money grabber!

I dunno about that..i think at the end of the day as a striker you should be judged by how often you put the ball into the net and Tevez doesn't do that enough for me..a "crocked and past it" Micheal Owen scored more goals last season then Tevez did

These are the qoutes from him BTW:

April 2nd 2009: “From the moment I arrived, he has treated me with respect as a person. His greatest quality is that, for him, there are no star players - everyone is equal, whether they cost many millions or are a young player who hasn’t played many times for the team. When I see him work he reminds me of Carlos Bianchi, who was my coach at Boca Juniors in Argentina. Both have had a big influence on my career, and both know how to treat people.“

January 4th 2009: “We have not started talks with Manchester United yet, though I am keen to stay. Sir Alex Ferguson has told me he wants me to remain a United player and that is certainly my desire too. My contract ends in the summer and we have agreed to sit down at the end of the season and discuss a new contract, nothing I have heard from the club suggests it will be otherwise. There is simply no reason to sit down now. I have a great relationship with Sir Alex and I hope that will continue long into the future.“

December 16th 2008: “We have been talking about it and everything is very advanced, as a consequence I think it will be sorted soon. I feel respected by my team-mates and by the staff.”
