Mate I've always said i didn't want us to pay 25 million for him..If I'm not bitter about Ronaldo leaving why would i be bitter about our 3rd choice striker leaving?

Tevez was rotting on the manure bench, he is a far better player than Berbatov. Fergie upset the balance of the 07/08 forward line to sign Berbatov and it didn't work out.
We will all see what Berbatov is made of this upcoming season so the excuses from the mancs for him either will disappear with his success or they will be blown up big time if he fails.
All this thing about Rooney having a break-out season. Excuse me for a moment but he has been with the mancs since 2004 and has been integral for them ever since he joined, so wtf how will he have a break-out season when he has always been their man.

?Yeah we will and i think he will have a good season now that Ronalo is gone there is more emphasis on him to stay up top and score goals rather then droping deep and creating them like he did last season and IMO he had an okay season last season 14 goals and 12 assist is not a bad return at all!
Yeah he has been here since 2004 but the fact is MOST of the time he had been sacrificed for Ronaldo bt now that Ronaldo is gone he will be our main force and he will be in his best position thus getting the best out of him!

Still don't by that Rooney has always been the main man along with Ronaldo and consistently put in top performances, he won't suddenly top that because he is on the top of his game.
I do believe tevez is better than berbatov. Better technique, better reading of the game and an all round better player. I only think Berbatov is better in 2 categories touch and finishing.
As I say this is a landmark season for Berbatov and there is no excuses for him now is there.

Fair enough and yeah Rooney has been good but there is better in him i know it!Hopefully if he stays injury free and gets some consistency in his game he could be a world player of the year candidate easily!
