He can bring out great assists if he has a target man.He is always going to be an attacking midfielder,we will never see him tottaly play a Xavi role..maybe it doesnt suits him as well..

This video prooves it. In almost every situation there, he has a target man (Messi, Villa) in front of him. He really should be OM.

Why doesn't Vilanova move Fàbregas more forward and give him the number 7, thus allowing Thiago the number 4?
Edit: or Thiago number 7 and Cesc number 4

And why is there need to do any of that? To give Neymar the #11?

Why would they change both players' numbers if both of the players already have "first-team" numbers (for the lack of a better expression)?
