I've been a fan since 2003.

Oh and weren't you the one that said Alves is much, much better than Alba in his thread 2 days ago?

Yeah, so I suggest you take your own advice. Alves hasn't been good since 2011. Or at least, not as good as Alba (for both Valencia and us).

Busi will fail miserably in Xavi's role. He simply doesn't have the vision. No matter how many videos you post to ''prove he does'', you know he doesn't.

Busquets does have the vision you can see it every time he plays.

At moment he is following instructions.

Song lasts season followed instructions and you could assume he doesnt have 'vision' when in fact his last season in the EPL he created more chances from open play than any other player.

Busquets is one of the quickest thinkers, most tactical players in the squad and would have a good chance of playing further forward.

...

Would you applaud Xavi or Messi had they played those throughballs?

He really doesn't. Not on Xavi's level anyway. It will be a massive downgrade.

He really does and does not show it every game as it is not his role to do so.

As I said earlier players play the role they are asked - like Song/Busquets do.

Busquets has all the abilities to play further forward.

No player in the world have a smarter football brain than Xavi and Busquets. They know where to pass before they have the ball.

Don't think Busi can play Xavi's role. Not nearly as good anyway. He's a pure DM. The fact is that nobody can do Xavi's role quite the way he does.

But the successor is Cesc. He will be the one who bosses the midfield and pulls the strings.

Don't you worry - Busi can play the Xavi role (if we now insist on playing the same way) better than anybody except Xavi himself.
