Dont jinx it. Never want to see the Don on the LW again

It's not our best system, but I wouldn't as far as to say I don't ever want to see it again. If the alternative is playing both Pedro and Sanchez as wingers, then I'd rather see Iniesta on the left. I'd take Villa on the left over anything else, though. My LW preferences are: Villa > Tello > Iniesta > Pedro > Sanchez

It worked great for the entire first half of the season, until Cesc's dip in form and until Iniesta started drifting back into midfield more and more each game. Before that, it worked like a charm. I don't know why people insist on criticizing it entirely when in reality it worked for several months, then didn't work for one. The important thing is that we haven't been using it since it had gone bad (although it took some time for the staff to figure that out), and that's cool. But let's not pretend it never worked.

The system can work against most teams in La Liga but against the very best teams in the league and in the Champions League we should avoid using it.

Agreed.

It's important to distinguish between the part where it worked well and the part where it started disintegrating, though.

It worked against Malaga. And in the league game against Madrid (I'd say we did well in that game, considering we had Masch and Adriano in defense and came close to winning).

It was working well until Cesc's dip in form. Even in the few big games. Still think Xavi/Iniesta in midfield with Villa up front is better, but we don't need to discard the Iniesta on LW system completely IMO. Don't wanna see it again until next season though. And even then, it shouldn't be our primary lineup but a bit of a backup plan or something along those lines.

I'd only take Iniesta at LW with Villa centered, and Messi at RW or behind Villa, with alves bombing forward.

I'd take him at LW in the system we've seen this season, provided that he stays on the left and Cesc is in good form. Not as the main system, though. Just as one of the possible lineups. What you said definitely sounds like the more efficient solution, though. But the problem of him and Cesc crowding the same area is possible in that option, as well. That's the main problem with Iniesta on the left, IMHO. Iniesta on the left works best in the Spain NT, where there is a double pivot and only Xavi taking up space in central midfield. There Iniesta has more freedom and can overlap much more with Alba, because there's more defensive stability in the back. In Barca he has both Xavi and a very similarly positioned Fabregas to run into all the time, and no constant partnership with Alba, who can't afford to attack all the time due to Barca playing with 1 DM and Alves always being forward.

I'd also like to see Iniesta - Messi - Villa. Villa can play on the right. I don't know why this is being ignored.

Respect to the guy for making videos of what seems to be his every performance, and not just showing the good stuff. But perhaps he should've shown that the pass to Tello was offside (by about 5 metres)

And he's cutting the video so as to not show how far away some of the passes went, and really cut most of the situation with Messi's pass to Tello

Perhaps he thought that by the time he made the pass the lightening quick Tello would be back onside...
