It did work in the first half of the season. Still, Xavi/Iniesta in midfield with Villa up front has worked better, so I see your point.

What seems weird to me is that Cesc is playing really well for Spain (with plenty flair) but is playing poorly for Barça...
I think part of the problem is Cesc not knowing his role. Tito returning should be a big help to him (and the rest).

You cant say two months without an assist as an indicator he regressed. He played enough key passes or through balls in those months that werent converted by Pedro or Alexis or even Villa. The RM copa game he set up Xavi for an easy goal and he hit it at Varane. He lost form but he cant maake people score his passes either.

Well he has a habit of making his feelings known. The ref gives yellow cards for nothing but Cesc should know this.
