If he can do this against PSG, Milan, Madrid Yes he should play upfront with Messi. Against a relegation Mallorca is not enough. And also Messi is not an Alexis type winger. He is a creator not a typical finisher. We know he finishes. However he finishes by creating. He does not make runs as Villa or Alexis. He requires runs from others. So Cesc and Messi together will not work as you think Flavia. Football is all about chemistery. Sometimes two same type of players do not work well.
