I ain't no Cesc hater, infact I complained about the Cesc hate bandwagon in chat, but he was poor today IMO.

And that's perfectly OK. Bad game, move on. Not bad game, SELL THIS PIECE OF **** WHO NEVER SHOULD HAVE EVEN COME IN THE FIRST PLACE WE SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT OZIL.

Too many people are taking the Cesc hate too far. He wasn't great today but that doesn't mean he's total shit or anything. The guy scored a hat trick last week for Christ's sake, you'd think he'd get a better reception from his own fans.

Xavi wasn't special at all today either, yet the criticism eludes him just because people have an inbuilt hate for Cesc (Not that I hate Xavi). Be objective at the very least if not supportive.

Scoring against weak sides means nothing, barca controls the match against those weak la liga sides with almost 80% posession. Against any sort of good team cesc is bad, tell me one good game against a good team he had this season? please... why do you keep defending someone when its obvious he is not as good as he should be, do you realize how much money he cost us? And not only is he not good, he also plays in such a position that its hard to incorporate him in the squad without hurting another player and putting him out of position, all these things show only 1 thing, he was a not needed puchrase and we lost alot of money for him.

Agreed with all you say, but Xavi was quite a bit better than Cesc (who was by no means poor)

Fabregas scored against Real Madrid, Malaga... Benfica in the CL, Sevilla... And that's not even his main job. So quit distorting reality to justify your hatred.

He really looked lost out there. Was hoping Mallorca game gave him confidence but PSG and now Zara saw Cesc go to his usual 2nd part of the seasons slump.

He was very good against Sevilla-away, Getafe-away and depor-away, all 3 very complicated or tight away games, on the beginning of the liga, when things weren't as calm as they're now, with the big 13 lead. Just 9 points on the liga Barça wouldn't have without him. Might be not that much, and he is having a bad 2nd half of the season again. He surely needs consistency.

Tonight he was totally off, his mind was probably with his newborn baby girl.

He was poor today, no other way around it... However, I still think he and the coaching staff haven't found a position where he can perform consistently, due to his quality he can still play well in some matches but on a regular basis...

It was clear as day that he wasn't having "just a bad game", he was completely off, like he was asleep. Whether it's because of his newborn or not, it's still evident that something was definitely way off.

I don't hate Cesc. And I don't think we should sell him. IMO NO Player is above criticism, not even Messi.

The difference between Cesc and Xavi is :
Xavi has plenty of credit in the bank, Cesc doesn't.

Btw Xavi was our 3rd best player today imo.

Useless signing, slow, losses the ball all the time, can't pass.. he was a waste of money, he doesn't fit in our team. Only few good matches in his 2 years.
