You have to take into consideration that Porto are a selling club , they sold lots of their stars last 2 season and that's why they lost the leadership in the Portuguese league for the first time in years .
they have earned more than 120 Million from players sales in the last 2 years and spend peanuts in reinforcements

Boswinga, Quaresma , Pepe,Lucho Gonzalez , Lisandro Lopez,Cissokho .. they got Belluschi & Falcao for virtually nothing along with fringe players .

It will take time for the new core to come to life but you need to give them time , considering even with such a poor squad they reached the QF and managed to beat Arsenal is more credit for them

Fair argument.
The remaining point still stands, looking at all of their previous CL matches compared to last night, clearly there is no analogy of the quality that anyone Porto Fan can detect. hence the Question : "What Happened" to Porto - this is a ("suprising-suprise") if you will.
Porto's current squad (regardless of lost gems in the team) was well and capable of an away goal (at least one)in London...and any 2nd division coach could see how things were crumbling and yet Ferreira could do nothing to turn things around. The players are not bad at all mind you, they just seemed static and without a map to issues.

I agree the periodical slum won't inflate suddenly, I just don't see how much of it had much to do with an utter flushing of many goals to NIL on the night.

If Bayern face Real Madrid the game would end something like 10-3 for Real Madrid. I only want Real Madrid to go through to see this happen. It would be a massacre, they are awful at defense. They don't concede much goals in the league because they attack so hard the other teams feels weak and tries to defend but if Real Madrid face them it would be really different.
To be honest, I don't know how such a team is thought to be powerful, they are very vulnerable.

Fuck it, Nesta and Pato won't play today not even on the bench. Nesta always does this that I am really starting to get pissed at him. Antonini is in doubt too so we might start good ol Jankulovuski as LB. I like the guy but he can't defend to save his life. If it was 85-15 for Manchester, now it's 95-5. Hope we can go through this with a draw and not a thrashing. :p

Gnegneri

immaculately conceived
You don't think Giggs' was a great goal?

You could critisize the defending in any individual goal, but I prefer to admire the players skill.
Great goal but nothing 'shocking the world" about it. Just like Nasri's.

The scoring player does well but you can't see a single challenge in both goal runs. No sliding, no tackle, not even a charge towards the ball.

Exactly, they have done this consistently for some time now. They are very canny in the market and if you consider their CL record it's very impressive. They've never been brilliant away from home, but they still had Arsenal on the back foot after the break last night. The Nasri goal killed them off. Every year though they're an awkward side to play against.

I am Leg End
Man u will win 3-0 3-1 4-0 or 4-1 tonight. Sorry to say but Milan's defence just isn't up to it. If man u score early I see a hammering.
