Well, the commentators were waxing lyrical about the Old Trafford supporters, saying how they're welcoming Beckham, really they're booing him every time he touches the ball, so bad.

gary neville vs. ronaldinho wasn't as epic as I thought but it did have the outcome I suspected. but that's coz they're both past their best. it was a closely fought contest, but something of a cripple fight.
wayne rooney is such a superb #9. who'da thunk it?
park at CM/AM is so simple but so inspired (bet you he'd pull that out if they drew us. he'd set park on x-man). I love his movement and workrate - but his touch and technique are so inconsistent it's hard to call him good. sometimes he looks like such a fucking spanner. valencia is amazing.
rio and to a lesser extent vidic were utterly immense. having them back makes united at least twice as great.

I don't think Vidic played particularly well, also Park has a bad touch, but Rio and Rooney were both massive... Wow.
