Yeh the Ronnie v G Nev contest never really happened, He drifted around a lot rather than hugging the left touchline, I can't even remember him directly running at G Nev down the flank. Milan were really poor in possession. That said Huntelaar was absolute shite, if he'd taken his chances early on before Rooney's first it could have been a more interesting game.

As soon as Gibson came on, him Fletch and Scholes just shut out Milan and hit thenm on the break. Quality tactics from SAF.

Even though ManYoo are a better team, SAF still outsmarted Leonardo completly (no surprise).

Seedorf did do alright when he came on. He linked up with Ronaldinho well but the addition of Gibson was too much for them. Beckham made some great crosses. Its just a shame that Inzaghi was always offside lol.

Rooney is obviously key, but if Rio gets a run of games and we have him and Terry fit as our CBs that's a huge bonus. Agree though Lennon (no other effective, pacy RW) and Cashley (no other LB even near world class) are crucial.

Very very true. He's not the most entertaining player to watch but he's very effective and totally 100% committed, always produces good performances in the big games too.

Those that are saying United are very defensive, are they not the leading scorers in the Premier League this year? o_o
