Bayern are a lot better than they were last year, but this year's Dortmund are also a hell of a lot better than last year's Chelsea.

Saying that Dortmund have a better chance than Chelsea did last year isn't really saying much though

Neah, it's the style which is totally different. The philosophy and backbones of the two teams are different, but overall they're not much different in team value.
Last year both teams had suspended players for the final, now it's just Gotze, Bayern's defense is now at its best compared to the Munich final, not to mention it's much better than last years best 4 lineup with Dante filling for Holger.
Dortmund do not have a better chance, they are facing a team in top form that proved to have little weaknesses and that is perfectly covered in all departments, a proven consistency that they never had in the past decade as a team, something that last year they didn't have.
Borussia's chances are similar to Chelsea's when you make the long story short: a lot of luck, blind luck really, but as I said, chances to get lucky against this Bayern team are less likely.

Dortmund do have a really good chance though, hopefully they can see off Gotze in style and show the world they don't really need him.

Just as footyfan said, we're talking about an 18 team championship, that's 4 less games than La Liga, 12 points less, if they had 2 more teams, they would've been most probably an extra 2 low-level ones, so you can easily add 12 points, at least 10.

Really? Chelsea were shit that season (6th in the league IIRC), they were extremely lucky to get past Barca (hell, they struggled against Benfica and Napoli), and Bayern outplayed RM in the semis. Dortmund definitely have a better chance than Chelsea did imo.
