No it isn't. Don't let your anti-United stance cloud what actually happened in the game.
First half United were pinned back and had to defend really well. However, we had a goal disallowed (harshly so too), and also had by far the best chance of the half. Bayern had a lot of fancy possesion but when it comes down to it, they did very little with it. Second half was surprisingly open and was certainly not the one way traffic some had expected.
Overall Bayern had a lot of the ball without really doing all that much with it, we didn't have much of the ball but on another day could have won the game, because we did look dangerous on several occasions.
1-1 was a fair result, but it's not out of the question to say that had we won 2-1 that we would have earned it.
We are still in the tie and anything can happen in 90 minutes. I still fully expect a comfortable Bayern win, but you never know.
The goal was NOT disallowed and neither was the call harsh.
The whistle is blown, Martinez and Neuer stop their motion, Welbeck shoots, the ball is in the net.
THAT is what happened. It was NOT shot, goal, whistle.
You and so many other United fans claim it was a disallowed goal, it is simply stunning.
Also Martinez is 1,90 meters tall (same as me btw), his head was down for the header for maybe 10 to max. 20 cm. Welbeck had his foot almost in Martinez' face. By every definition of the rule, that is a clear call by the ref.
Also, what you did was park the bus, do a little counter-attacking, which in the first half looked absolutely pathetic, 2nd half was quite improved in that regard, though you failed to really threaten Bayern's goal except for that one 1-on-1 situation.
btw, that opportunity arose solely on the basis of Jerome Blunderteng's blunder and had nothing to do with proper counter-attacking (even your goal was made possible by Blunderteng not marking his guy btw).
On the other hand Bayern failed to really threaten the goal as well (two missed tap-in opportunities by Müller and Mandzukic, 2 Robben shots, the actual goal, that was it) due to United's efficient bus-parking. However, they clearly dominated the match.
How anyone can claim United was the better team and deserved to win, is COMPLETELY beyond me.
