Honestly I feel much better about our defense after seeing the supposed "superior" Bayern defense

+1 We havent conceded 4 goals against Real Madrid since 13/12/08 (18 games since then).

What would concern me is that it essentially proves it isn't about individuals. We could buy the best centre backs in the world, its the style of play that leaves defenders exposed. The one thing it would help is from set pieces.

Atletico are all that is holy for barcaforum right now... until they play Barca. Then they are barbaric butchers, cheats, and hacks.

Mourinho doesn't bother me and I'd rather have him win it than RM, Chelsea have a better chance of winning against them than Atletico in 1 leg. One slip up by Simeone's team who have never been there and it's lights out. Mourinho at least has experience and knows what to do and when. Not saying Atletico can't win, because they obviously can, but it is much more than talent at this level.

I think Azpilicueta will play as a right sided midfielder, obviously will help out Iva with defence and also get some crosses in. The reason I think Cesar will be further up on the right is because Cole and Ivanovic are playing, and Mourinho won't be playing 3 CBs, at least not initially, but the lineup is flexible so if we get a goal or two lead it can turn into a 3 CB and 2 FB formation.

It's essentially the lineup we had against City, but with no Matic in the CL Ramires goes back to CM, Azpilicueta takes the right side and Cole goes back to LB.
