The hell is wrong with Atleti? I should be happy considering they're in Bayerns group and some revenge is on but there's little pleasure in getting back to a team that isn't performing the same as previously. Hope they regain some form soon, feels like playing a complete different team otherwise.

based on what exactly? it would be embarrassing if city lost to them. City will finish 2nd and would still be favoured to make at least quarter finals in my eyes. Depends on which first place team they play

If they can knock out PSG with a weaker team compared to the guys they have brought in this year they should be improved

Well, they got extremely lucky(one corner and a penalty in stoppage time) against us in last years home match for Gladbach and needed goals at the end of the game to win at home.

We also know how to get results against Pep, as he couldn't even beat us during his final two season at Bayern, with a better squad than the one he's got at City.

Still, Barca + Citeh should be the ones going through, while Gladbach and Celtic fight for that 3rd spot.
Though, we certainly will go for it and it will be interesting to see how well Mr. Stones and his buddies can defend(especially against our pace + technical abilities at every offensive position), trying to play Pep's offensive/high line.

Gladbach has been Peps Nemesis at Bayern. Plus they have also been outplsying City in their 2 games last year over large periods and were also keeping up with Juventus. Their oroblem is definitely inexperience and being quite wasteful with chances. However, Gladbach isnt scared of big names, that's for sure.

PSG went out from CL because of poor tactic from Blanc. The 3-5-2 formation was a pretty bizarre and silly decision to make by the Frenchman. A formation PSG aren't familiar with and not having players suited for that. The yellows that both Luiz and Matuidi got were silly and put PSG in a poor position right from the start.

Yeah they were worse than a poor City side.

Emery is an upgrade and he is good in knockout comps but still the lack of adjustments he made in the league when it came to Sevilla's away form might be a question mark.
