Barca drew the easiest quarter-final tie, won the first leg 4-1 and was still eliminated. massive institutional failure..

I dont care about city or liverpool, but the fact is liverpool scored from offside position in first leg, and city had legit goal which was dissalowed, thats 2:1, second leg, milner touched the ball wjich went to sane, 2:0, but offside was called.

Liverpool legend gerrard had most embarressing dive in CL final vs milan which lead them to additional time, so liverpool is used to such help from referee
Well, if we want to bring up historical "help" from the officials, then it's only fair to bring up the game in 2013/14, when Liverpool were leading City 1-0 at the Etihad and Raheem Sterling (then a Liverpool player) was wrongly called offside when one-on-one with the keeper. Had Sterling scored, Liverpool would almost certainly have got at least a point from the game (they lost 2-1), and they'd have won the title that season.

Anyway, City's first yesterday could very easily have been disallowed for a foul. We could sit here arguing about referees all day, but the fact is, the decisions were made, and teams have to get on with it. Liverpool shut down City in the second half and scored two lovely goals to win the tie, which they thoroughly deserved. The oil team and its entitled, arrogant fans have been booted out of the CL... again.

Real Madrid XI

Navas

Carvajal - Varane - Vallejo - Marcelo

Isco - Modric - Casemiro - Kroos

Bale - Ronaldo

Good line-up. Curious to see if this plays out to a 442 or more of a 4312. Regardless, interesting to see that Zizou starts Benz on the bench, where he probably should have been a while ago now.
