Real Madrid gonna sign Bellingham on top of this and probably Mbappe next year or some other high profile forward whilst we're trying to sign one old player after the other.

Well, as long as you start conceding goals its all good.

They've been terrible. Created zero except a poorly placed long shot that should never go in.

The problem is City and Pep is not adaptable, it is their ball dominant style or nothing, when Madrid always win in CL by waiting on the counter and individual magic.

City can't concede possession tonight.
To do that you need an opponent that is able to have the ball for a few seconds. Madrid can't
Yes they are bad
One moment, one shot etc

Although City didn't penetrate in the final 3rd. Didn't create big chances themselves either

City will have a point when complaining about the ref.
But even discounting that they produced an absolute shit show of a first half.
They were more than ok the first 15-20, but than Real started to kick the shit out of City players and got into their heads - City started to take it out on the ref (who indeed has been shit) and forgot to play, playing right into Real's hands. This was the only way Real could win and City falling for it like amateurs.

City are just playing a typical first half of a first leg. Sussing out the opponent, not committing too much and trying to maintain control. Wonder goal from Vinicius and a ref that doesn't want to hand out a yellow to a serial fouler is the difference maker.

City playing far below expectations so far

Could be planned, half their players not even in gear properly but looks more like stage fright from usual suspects like Grealish

Goals in this leg don't matter awful much but doesn't bode well if they don't kick a gear in

Real had like 3 very good forward moves. City just shot at sight. Masterclass so far if you ask me.

Another note. 53 km ran by both teams this half. Means this is a low intensity game. City have young physical team and are making the game suitable for 38 modric and an older Kroos. Stunning

City should considering taking out Grealish or Bernardo for Mahrez or Alvarez.

Bernardo is playing way too conservative while Real Madrid are using the same tactics against Grealish as Atletico did to make him lose his shit and do something stupid.

It's still early days, city just can't concede again.

Take off their wingers if they don't start driving at the fullbacks 15 minutes in.

Alvarez, Mahrez
