They're more of an always in the run team but they don't win often. They've had only 3 CLs since the 1970s Beckenbauer era despite being in the running most years.

Since Ac Milan went to shite, Bayern are the team you can guarantee will most likely make the semis most years but lose just as much as they win. Barca pre 2020 were also in the semis most years for at least a decade.
