So Madrid getting Celtic, even though they're should've gotten City? First round should be set in stone, according to rankings, otherwise what's the point, when you still get only 50 % chance of an opponent, according to the table?
It should be automatically:
9-24
10-23
11-22 (Real City) not like now when it's 11-21/22.
Stupid rule.
Also, how does this work when the top 8 join? Another 50% draw? I'm guessing Top 8 (who play the 2nd leg at home) can get anyone from the 8 teams who won in the first knockout round (thus 9-16 ranked teams technically)??? I'm guessing this is it, cause rankings aren't a thing anymore after the first knockout round, teams who win the first round won't be ranked 9-16th anymore, no? So the only logical thing is anyone from top 8 can get anyone from the other (promoted through the first knockout round) 8 teams.
