I am not imposing anything on anyone.
I gave you historical examples of how and WHEN mentality of Madrid fanbase changed.
I gave you REAL QUOTES that contradict what you write. Go READ
If you choose to ignore that, it is your problem

It is probably you, who are too young, and have watched Madrid only after 2009, and believe such stuff.
With that logic, we are the same as Real since we changed our philosophy two times.

In the 70s when Rinus Michels came, we started to adopt Dutch style of football.

And in the 1990 under Cruijff, we went full on Dutch football.

Tldr:
1. Real change their philosophy when needed (to improve themselves) to win trophies = they are bad guys

2. Barca change their philosophy from a random football style to Dutch football and gain success = Barca are good guys in your eyes

The only difference is that Barca upgraded their philosophy to a level 2 (attacking football with Dutch principles), while Real has done the same, but with 18 different upgrades/patches.

This is why Real won 15 CLs or 8 in the last 40 years, and Barca won 1 title ever without Messi's impact.

The real question is: are Barca heroes and good guys here?
Or do we need an upgrade?

Also, you could easily put us under the saying: insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

When something is not working = Barca does it the same again.
When something is not working for Real = they upgrade their ideas.

It's a matter of taste.
Are we true to ourselves?
Or are we just dellusional, too emotional and stuck in the past?

Real has won half of their CL trophies when they weren't the better team due to their cautious and counterattacking approach.
And when has Barca won the CL as the weaker team?
= NEVER

We can win it only in the absolute perfect circumstances with no injuries, no unlucky goals, no ref's mistakes.
And when we are by far the best team in the tournament.

On the other hand, Real can win in 100s of different scenarios because they are flexible and they have upgraded their approach 18 times.

Again, unlike us.
We have one upgrade in 1990' and we aren't changing.
= always try to attack as if there is no tomorrow.

The funny thing is, one of the rare titles without Messi, in 2006', came with more cautious approach by Rijkaard when we won against Chelsea and Milan in RM's style with very cautious approach.
With players like Van Bommel, Edmilson, Motta playing in midfield.

This is just a difference in football philosophy

Barca DNA is nonsense vs football Cruyfista purists Setien

Yeah, let's talk philosophy when Barto the war criminal spend 500m on three bums, gave fat contracts to the likes of Lenglet and crippled the club for a decade or two.

Only thing that keeps us above water is La Masia.

Sadly, this CL edition marks the first in VAR era in which Madrid got away with murder, aka refereeing "mistakes", ofc always in their favour. Leipzig games, Bayern return leg and the final.

Since 2019 when VAR was implemented in CL, there were no more refereeing scandals involving Madrid in CL and therefore only one CL won for them in that time span. It seems to me they finally "adapted" to VAR in CL and it took them quite a while to do so.

Hopefully we won't see a repeat of what we saw back in the last years without the VAR system in CL (2016-2018) in which Madrid had the season and the refereeing scandals always for them and never against them and in the end the win of the trophy, season after season.

After 2011 when it was 9 Champions Leagues to 4, you certainly thought it was possible that Barca could get to second place in the most titles won within the next decade.

Incredible how the situation actually turned out.

There was vs PSG, clear foul on Donnarumma that made possible the remontada. More clear than this penalty

Feels like Dortmund made a mistake switching on Reus, didn't have much of an impact, and left Dortmund without much pace up front.

First 50 minutes Dortmund were the better team but in the end Real ran out deserved winners. Dortmund ran out of ideas and belief.

Second half once Vinicius and Rodrygo were 1v1 with the Dortmund fullbacks more often, the game changed.

This is because Adeyemi for example, but even Sancho to a lesser extent, played at a high level physically in the 1st half. Me and my friend even said in the 1st half that they can't keep this intensity up and Madrid is gonna cook them in the 2nd half, and exactly this happened. In this aspect, the game has been very predictable.

They needed to keep the same level of intensity and pressure for 90 mins, but Dortmund fell off a cliff in the 2nd half. And the big chance Adeyemi missed in the 1st half, that 1 vs 1, that should have been a goal. So basically, Dortmund gave it all in the 1st half, trying to get some lead to defend like vs PSG, but it did not work as planned.

You're welcome
