It's a 50/50 penalty in a league game, it's not a penalty in the final.

You miss the point
The point was not what Ancelotti's style is, let alone direct comparison with Capello
The point was Madrid's fanbase mentality
The same fanbase that was happy with Mou's style also in 2010-13

Oh yes. The horrors of direct football with historic season, scoring bucketload goals. Oh my. Mou should have won CL, with Madrid. That team was lit as frack.

And there goes your dumbass narrative.

Ancelotti perfected the most practical football. Madrid doesn't win because they play the best or the most beautiful fooball, but the best working one to win games. It's not forbidden of course and as long as they keep winning, fans gonna enjoy it.
And of course their CL mentality. They somehow focus on this title more than any other and it shows year after year for the last decade. You have to congratulate them and try to do better next season.

Winning the CL isn’t happening any time soon. Barca should focus on la liga which is achievable and try to close the gap in league titles.

Madrid don't play particularly poor football either, though, they just tend to sit back and not challenge for the ball mostly against other top teams. They are definitely capable of keeping the ball and playing positional football, they just don't specialise in any particular type of football and are quite reactive as a team.

They can play with defensive or possessional setups when the time requires.

Probably. Btw all this stuff about mbappe disrupting their dressing room and bringing down madrid from some fans is delusional coping. The other thing is mbappe is the perfect player against barca.
Flick’s high line against mbappe

At least will be comedy

⚪️🏆 “What do you think about this Champions League?”.

Florentino Pérez: “I think that we are already focused on the next one. We want the 16th”.

Unreal winning mentality

I am not young.
I have been watching ball since 1994 WC. Everything happened afterwards I have watched, and after 97 or 98 I have very clear memories of everything,
and I remember Madrid sacking TWICE title winning manager Capello (1997 and 2007) because of the football he played. And Madrid fans waiving white hankerchiefs for him TWICE because of his football.

"Real president Ramon Calderon told Marca newspaper: 'We've laid the foundations, but we need to find a more enthusiastic way of playing'."
"I began to realise that the plan of Capello did not fit in with what the fans of Madrid expected."
"the good results aren't enough"
"We want to return to the spectacle that excites the Madridista members.""

No accident that all that changed with Mourinho. Barca's best team in history was the best excuse Mou needed to assert to their fanbase the different philosophy he wanted.
Yes, they are ABSOLUTELY PLASTIC, because they were so easy to change mindset.
Madrid since Mou have the same philosophy as Juventus, which was always winning no matter how
The definition of being plastic
Just like most of their fans if not all who support that club not for what it is and how they play but for trophies, that alone is a defenition of a plastic fan.

Got our resident Stoichkov chiming in about people being plastic, yet he's the last person to be described as a fan of his own club you could ever imagine
