I agree that the first goal is crucial. I haven't seen Barca counter attack much but thats cos you guys have the posession most of the time. With the pace of players like Messi and Eto'o, Barca are bound to be dangerous counter attackers.

Tbh counter attacking is our bread and butter when it comes to tough European nights. If we do get an early goal, I wouldn't be surprised if we score two or three more goals.

I personally think both teams will show too much respect for the other and will produce a cagey game. If that happens, individual brilliance might be the difference between the two teams.

Valdes, while disputed by many, is a good at saving PK. So I wouldn`t give an advantage to ManUtd there.

I don't think i've ever seen VV save a pen, he's a fantastic 1-on-1 keeper though.

Neither do I actually. But he's fast as hell on the line, so he should be good at it.

We've only saved one pen this year afaik and that was Pinto in the semifinal against Mallorca ... we don't exactly concede loads but it's still not a brilliant stat.

that scares me a bit..Hope it doesnt go to penalties..Alves would have been a certain penalty taker if he had been there...Bojan is too young to handle such pressures..Dont know how that will turn out..Eto'o never know what we will get from him as well!Xavi- i have no clue as i have never seen him take a penalty!
