Pep has lost some of my likeness i had for him by going to City. Of course, he'll gain it back if he'll ever come back to Barca. One can only dream...

That would be interesting project for him and a tough one. How to save almost bankrupt Barcelona? This could make his legacy more than whatever he does with City.

El Plastico. I ll watch the match only because i have nothing better to do, but this is the most underwhelming CL final in history, two nothing clubs who bought their way to titles. Bleah. I honestly don't have favorite, but maybe Chelsea is the lesser of two very big evils, so maybe i ll cheer on Chelsea. Still not ideal.

Ultimately Man City for Pep. But won't mind Chelsea winning for Pulisic, but only if he plays the final.

Normally, I would bet on City easily.

But it's Chelsea. It's in their identity to pull off these types of upsets.

No it's a game of football and there is of course a Chelsea win somewhere in the tombola - it would be the case even if City were facing Bournemouth. No guarantees, but City are the clear favourites of course.

This isn't the easy win people here seem to be predicting for City. Historically, the team that took the "harder" route to the final tends to win it. I think Chelsea had a tougher set of games leading into the final compared to City.

Also the two recent losses to Chelsea will be at the back of Pep's mind. And if there is any coach who will take something like that and overthink the hell out of it, it's Pep.

Finally, this will be Chelsea's third CL final while this is City's first. Chelsea has experience of being here.

Just dropped in to note that Kovačić has a chance to win his 4th UCL. Kovačić didn't play a minute in his 3 finals. 1 on the stands and 2 on the bench. But they do count.
So he may catch up Messi today.
Mateo Kovačić.
Amazing carrer.

City was on the side of the draw that had Bayern (the sextuple one) and PSG and KO the quatar club in a convincing manner whilst Chelsea had only Madrid who had more like a Europa League path to the semis than a CL one.

City had Borussia M?nchengladbach, Dortmund and PSG. Bayern being on that side is irrelevant since they never met.

Chelsea had Atletico, Porto and Real Madrid. IMO, these teams are collectively stronger than what City faced.

None of the players that play in CL finals for past Chelsea rosters are playing this one. Majority of the team composes and relies upon Youngsters with little experience. Should be interesting.

Does he have the stones to do this? Seems he chooses the easiest projects, with as much money as possible. If he indeed comes here in this situation, he deserves a statue outisde of the Camp Nou. But i highly doubt it.
