Does he have the stones to do this? Seems he chooses the easiest projects, with as much money as possible. If he indeed comes here in this situation, he deserves a statue outisde of the Camp Nou. But i highly doubt it.

He could do, but not alone. The board would have to be extremely great as well. Scouting lower and foreign leagues for economical team players with decent enough skill to participate in the system. On top of finding two or three young (potential) superstars that can be bought at a low cost.

Laporte rarely starts now to be fair. Stones-Dias is the first choice CB pairing.
