Atleti gave me a flashback to their 2013-2016 games. Simply incredible both in defense and attack. I fancy them to eliminate any team in the CL bar Real Madrid. They have a mental block against them. The only team I'm confident can eliminate Madrid 100% is us because Madrid have a mental block against us.

Don't get me wrong he wasn't at fault for too much seeing as he didn't get much service but it just proves again that you need a team, a gameplan, quality players etc to succeed in the CL.

Exactly. He was the best attacker for Juventus tonight but any chances he got were long distance shots and header at the end, nothing really dangerous.

At RM he had around 5 or 6 big chances per game easily. It highlights once again the work that RM mids put in every game. Add beast attacking fullback Marcelo and a charistmatic coach Zidane and you had a juggernaut of a team in attack. Hell, you can add Benzema as well who dedicated everything to serve CRonaldo's goal interests.

Barca > Real
Real > Atletico
Atletico > Barca

So I prefer Real k.o Atletico and then we eliminate Real :p

Lol, if we play the final with Atletico they are breaking their curse and win the CL. No matter who they play against in the final this year, if they get there Atletico are winning it.

We are barely going to get past Lyon, if that, and we are thinking about the final? Lol we're not getting past the quarters at this pace.

I just don't trust them to win against Madrid in CL. In the past they used to trash Madrid at least in La Liga, but even that is not how thing are nowadays, the games between them are much more even or Madrid simply dominate. I would say they are winning against anyone but Madrid.

They are beating this Madrid in CL imo. They had even the best Madrid on the ropes 2-0 until Savic made a blunder and Madrid got their away goal. And basically Ronaldo ruined them in the first game with his hattrick.
