13/14 Atlético was a bit different than 15/16. When we faced them in 2014, the game should have ended something like 5-0 for them . They were on another level
They should have won the champions league that year. What a shame.
But anyways, I don’t think their attack is as good as it was then even though they seem to have better players now

Way too much trust in this team. We are struggling vs any team these days. Last five games one win or something and we have brutal schedule ahead.
We are a different style team to them. If we put in that much effort off the ball we would probably not play the good football we play.

Atletico aren't Barca's historic rivals. Stop the BS. Just another Liga rival, Barca have 19 of them each year. Are Barca fans supposed to hate every spanish team ?
Atletico did whoop Barca's ass in the CL twice since 2014 though. So did Roma and... Juventus. No historic reasons to hate Atletico.
At the most, you can hate their style which I do hate btw. I was also mad at Atletico because they get smashed by RM in CL.
But in a battle between Atletico and Juventus, a Barca fan isn't supposed to be anti-Atletico.
On the other hand, Juventus has the most overrated player in the history of this sport, CR7. RM give him an undeserved image and aura, and people need to know the truth. It's unfair that he's simply compared to Messi and if we can avoid any further damage, we'll take it. Fraud needs to be exposed.

Hardly. Athletic Bilbao is more relevant to Barca than Atletico historically.
Also on the messi vs ronaldo thing. I used to care about that, bt now I realise that the majority opinion is always going to be misinformed and based on crap. Like when ronaldo won balon d’or cause Portugal beat Sweden of all teams in a qualifying play off. Or when they won the euro when he didn’t even play most of the final. There’s also the older generation that insist maradona is better.

That’s right. Though Atletico are a Madrid team and very pro Spain (they were the air force team) and right wing. Barca we know is a political club and pro Catalonia etc. Also there has been some historic games over the years.
