Also on the messi vs ronaldo thing. I used to care about that, bt now I realise that the majority opinion is always going to be misinformed and based on crap. Like when ronaldo won balon d’or cause Portugal beat Sweden of all teams in a qualifying play off. Or when they won the euro when he didn’t even play most of the final. There’s also the older generation that insist maradona is better.

I try to be content knowing messi is the goat and try not to worry what random people think

re Messi vs Ronaldo

i don't actually hate Ronaldo, atleast no more than the usual ex-Madrid player - and this has decreased even more as hes no longer a Madrid player. his fanboys are REALLY embarrassing though, it actually makes me cringe, go spend 1month on redcafe and you'll see what i mean.

sadly i think alot of todays Barca fans (not aiming this at anyone here) are Messi fans more than they are the club.. will be interesting to see what were left with after Leo retires

That’s right. Though Atletico are a Madrid team and very pro Spain (they were the air force team) and right wing. Barca we know is a political club and pro Catalonia etc. Also there has been some historic games over the years.

I agree.

I'll never support a team that were matchfixing in Juventus though. For me that's worse and against the integrity of the game.

I couldnt watch the match, but im guessing the poor display was down to the very average midfield of Juventus(+ blunders at the back)?
Heard Ronaldo was the only player even creating any half-dangers for them....must have been a sad display by Juventus.

Isn't Malcom or Dembele option? Put Coutinho on Wing, Dembele on Suarez spot and Messi on the right. Is it terrible?

Valverde will never do that in important games.

Not to mention Coutinho can't play the winger position anyway. Dembele as a CF will make him probably just 50% of what he can be. Didn't he play CF for us in one of the copa games not too long ago and was not effective?

Maybe it’s time to try out a false nine setup. Kind of funny because Suarez was bought initially because that setup wasn’t working anymore, I guess football goes around in circles
