Interested to see what happens

RM v Liverpool is more tasty TBH, no matter how much people will argue whether we 'deserve' to be there

You definitely don’t get to a CL semi-final without deserving to be there. Weathering storms is just as important as playing good football, especially in these games defined by small margins.

Expect an early City goal, actually, because we are a shambles at the back.

What happens from there? No idea.

It's the worst thing they could do as RM love being behind this season

Unless they execute perfectly and never make mistakes (which never happens in a game this magnitude and this stadium) RM will find way through so Pep best stay within 1 goal advantage

This is always a conversation of what people value about a team
Some, including me for most part, point out that a big reason for where we are is being ruthless when accidents happened. Taking advantage of the opponent rather than playing own game.

I dont like it, but cant begrudge players the effort

Not really.

The broke world record for a GK and a CB and likes of Keita/Jota etc were not cheap

We have sold very well. Net spend is very low.

One of the grievances our fanbase has had agai st the owners is them being stingy.

We've spent smartly and recruited well though.

Yes Liverpool have sold well but they are not scared to spend money to improve team as showed with GK and CB.

They havent yet had the need to spend big on any other position really but they would.

Who have Liverpool lost out on due to being stingy?

Liverpool fans love the low net spend more than moaning about anyone being stingy anyway.

Is Walker really fit? There were talks of him even missing the rest of the season. Definitely forced into this game.

Am I wrong in thinking that Madrid are more liberated and dangerous when they're behind in a tie?

When things are level Ancelotti looks a bit too pragmatic and asks them to sit back limiting their attacking firepower.
Remember they barely created anything in the 1st leg against PSG.

When they have attacked they have always inevitably found the goals.

Also, to be noted that City are back to full strength with their first choice full backs. Interesting to see how Jesus does today. Don't rate Nacho, especially as a CB. But then City have a tendency to screw chances in these ties in the CL.

What a cracking game! Can't wait.
