Just before the Liverpool game PSG smashed whoever their domestic opponents were 4-0, and even rested Mbappe and Neymar. They can't go from awesome to atrocious in the space of a few days. They looked bad because Liverpool made them look bad. Against most other opponents PSG would have looked great. They couldn't handle the pressing, pressure and relentless attacking by Liverpool, that's why they were made to look poor.

Mate, Liverpool were lucky not to go down 3-2 in the 87th minute. They were a Draxler pass away from being upset on their own pitch, which they haven't lost at in how long? This, from a PSG with no midfield and a new manager. Get some perspective.

Meanwhile, Lyon who is struggling in Ligue 1, bosses the EPL champion away from home. Bossed them.

When people want to measure superiority on basis of a game. Then,

Lyon > Man City.
Man City > Liverpool
Liverpool > PSG

That means,

Lyon > PSG.

I know its a shit logic, but you gotta give them the taste of their own medicine.

You've done this to yourselves. Farmers this, farmers that. Well, Farmers walked into the home a club that broke every EPL record last season and bossed them. Outsung their supporters and sent them home early.

I never understood the pomposity of both the English and some of the Spanish with regards to weaker leagues and how others build their reputation. What does it achieve? Absolutely fuckall.

Says a lot that PSG played poorly and still scored 2 goals on the road against the best English side. Even had a chance to go up 3-2 in the 87th minute but were unlucky. Too bad it isn't the final 16 or PSG would be favored to advance. Horrible!

The ideal sentence for the ideal forum.

PSG goes into Anfield with a new manager and without a midfield and was three minutes from the draw they played for. Lyon walked into Man City's home and bossed them on their own pitch. Farmers league my ass.

will PSG ever win a tie against a big club?

WAHAAHAHAHAHA. We're taking subjective luck into account now, are we? PSG were lucky to not be 3-1 down by halftime and 5-2 down by the end of the game. This from a Liverpool team that to start a striker that hasn't started a competitive game for them in almost a year while being injured for half that time, two misfiring wingers who don't want to pass to each other, a young makeshift CB who had to cover for Lovren, and a midfield that had Henderson, Milner and Wijnaldum.

See? Anybody can make excuses. Just because you team happened to lose doesn't mean your excuses are justified. The game is long finished. Move on.

Liverpool will beat them by even more in Paris and if they met later on in the season when liverpool start to play better they will batter them.

Surprised to see City loose at home, according to most they are the favorites to win the CL.
That being said, it was still a fluke and they probably will still finish first in the group.

I dont think most view them as some big favorite or anything. People who watch them know they have weaknesses that top opposition can and will punish, great league side though.

With what chances? Liverpool hardly threatened goal.

Klopp has been with Liverpool for three seasons. Tuchel has been with PSG for three months. Still played Liverpool 2-2 into extra time on the road with a patchwork midfield, only losing in the 91st minute after a moment of brilliance from Firmino.

See? Anybody can make excuses. Just because you team happened to lose doesn't mean your excuses are justified. The game is long finished. Move on.

What excuses? Liverpool was expected to win and they did. I just think the overreactions are funny given PSG was moments away from earning the draw they played for.

How the fuck did Valencia not win that game? Up one man since the 29th minute and not only did they lose, but they couldn't even score! Amazing...

They’re having a bit of a rough start to their season it seems. Not doing well in the league either.
