Always thought Grimaldo was gonna end up at City, especially with Pep's fondness for La Masia graduates still strong. Very surprised that this one hasn't happened (yet). Honestly thought it was gonna happen like 2 years ago, last summer at the latest.

Pep doesnt like small fullbacks in EPL so unlikely and Grimaldo is not the player a lot build him up to be.

Signed Yan Couto but that I doubt is a Pep call.

Grimaldo is not good enough and always injured.

09, 11 and 15 Barca, Madrid 17, Bayern 13, Inter 10 all beat them

Doubt Inter 2010 beat them. I'd put my money on this Liverpool breaking them down and winning a close one.

And those Barca teams, Jupp's Bayern and Madrid in 2017 are formidable sides. Even if they'd lose to these teams they can still be in the same echelon.

Juve down 1-0 at half time and even without a shot on target just the same. Just goes to show you the fucking overreactions on this forum are hilarious. There are no accidents/BAD teams left in the knockouts, people, get that through your heads. Everyone can have a bad day and go out against any opponent.

This forum severely underrates Liverpool. They have a very solid team. Alexander Arnold you could argue is just as solid as prime Dani Alves, their attacking trio is deadly, and van dijk is arguably better than prime Pique. They would still give pep 2011 Barca problems

Looks like you forgot your medication today

Liverpool struggles to break down the current Atletico side. Imagine them against prime Mourinho with the likes of Lucio, Samuel, Zanetti in defence and killers on the break like Milito, Eto’o and Sneijder

It surprises me that Pep is really not going for it. Carvajal is there for the taking. Sterling or Sane are surely imminent, unless they're still not 100%

They struggled v a declined AM. Mane, Firmino, Salah are a bit glass chinned when the going gets tough. I think Milito and Eto'o can counter them. Inter's back line and midfield was saavy as hell and Sneidjer's level was amazing in the latter half of the season. He would run the midfield.

I'd also put money on 2012 Madrid beating them. That team was outrageously strong and likely comfortably beats Chelsea in the final if they had won the penalty shootout against Bayern.

Inter had massive fortune to get past Barca in that CL semi.
