Good good. Madrid play their quarter final match just before El Clasico.

Imagine they draw Bayern, and then get back to back thrasings:
Wednesday by Bayern
Saturday by Barca
Tuesday by Bayern again...

Dream to come true

Not a good season for Italian clubs in Europe.
Expected something more from Atalanta

True.
The pace they play the game is too slow.
We have discussed that aspect again when madrid won against Inter in the group stage.
Slow teams cannot expose your weaknesses, and you manage to work around their slowness:
Kroos and Modric for example are super technical, so if you are unable to make them run you will rose the mid

These three matches will be a season defining moments for Real Madrid. If Zidane loses them, he will get sacked for sure.

Barca plays better than Real as a team. But if we don't convert our chances, expect 1 ramos header goal and 1 penalty for Real. It's going to be a close tie. Have more faith playing against Atletico to be honest.

We need fati_bdor to jinx Real before they play us. If they are out of the title race, it will be easier to beat them.

I actually don't mind if the current iteration of Real Madrid wins Champions League before their aging players are gone.

That would put a huge dent in Cristiano's legacy.

Nah fuck Real Madrid lol

In a tough spot here. Don't want Bayern to win. Don't want Liverpool to win. Don't want PSG to win. Who's left? Man City I guess?

Ill never count Real Madrid in the CL. Unlike us they can keep the score tight (when they have Ramos at the back) and all they need is "Cross and Inshallah" , before you know it they have taken the lead. Doesn't help that the competition out there isn't that strong.

Nah. Long gone are the days when Madrid go through being the worse side. If they somehow get an easy draw in the QF (Porto or Dortmund) they're out in the semis.

Agree with this Messi. But my animosity towards Real has been subdued over recent years. Of course I prefer them not to win CL but if they do I will recognize it as an impressive feat. I dunno...guess I am more focused on our own development and issues right now.

PSG I absolutely don't want to see it win. I get a lot of enjoyment out of their 'project of winning CL' getting extended with a year every time.

If they concede first it’s a nightmare for them nowadays. I always highlight that when it happens, they usually lose or draw. Game at weekend was a rare win for them after conceding first. If anything we’ve took over the “comeback kings” title recently.

The both times they got knocked was because Ramos wasn't on the pitch and Varane doing his best Lenglet impression. Im not saying they are the favourites to win it , but unlike us they can fluke out wins in the CL with a cross here or a corner there.

They can, but back then they also had Cristiano and Bale who are monsters in the air. Defending against two such players + Benzema was an almost impossible task for the 30-60 minutes they would bombard teams with crosses.
