That's the main approach, but don't think this is a rule or anything. You can still beat any team if you become elite in a style. The problem is City isn't elite at anything really.

Solid defense, quick world-class attack seem to be the easiest solution. Solid goalkeeper too.

City have bang average players in their frontline, midfield, and defense. It is a bang average team with Pep's flashy and flawed (against counter attacks) system laced over it...that ALWAYS flatters to deceive because this system is good at thrashing bums or teams with a third of City's budget.

I told Rassvet and all the City bandwagoners this many months ago.

A finished Aguero could still be useful here as a focal point over having De Bruyne drift in and out of position and Mahrez stinking it up dribbling backwards.

Players have costed a lot though

And PSG is the real deal now. They were unlucky to not win the CL last season since Mbappe and Ney choked in front of goal. Their front 3 creates chances at will almost but their finishing is still very, very poor for how good it could be.

Walker isnt anything special, but he is fast, Mbappe isnt going to just outrun him like he does with most fullbacks.
