There's a growing backlash to this story in UK, with people backing Carneiro.

She was doing her job, she shouldn't have to worry about the score or the state of the game.I understand Mou didn't want to go down to 9 men, albeit for a brief period of time but... he was ALREADY down to 9 men with Hazard on the floor, so it's a flawed argument surely ?

Nothing new for Mourinho. When his team wins it's because he's the greatest, when he loses he blames it on anything else he could possibly come up with.

Joking aside, she was also summoned on by the ref, so she was obliged to attend to player, along with Jon Fearn the physio.

Mou being disrespectful is not new to any of us, but I hope this story does gather a bit of momentum so he's obliged to back down and apologise.

This is what the Chelsea doctor that Mourinho essentially fired said about it:

"Putting that 'thanks for the support' note on Facebook was extremely naive,"

"That would upset anyone. What was she trying to achieve there? Are you bigger than the manager? You're never going to win, nor should you.

"Who's to say when common sense prevailed and there was no more gasoline poured onto the situation then everything would've just settled down.

"But when you add the Facebook and continue with it there is no chance she is still the first-team doctor. You can't do your job."

"A head injury you run on -- period, but you have to understand the injury and the game. I completely agree with some of the things Mourinho said.

"If you think that player is seriously injured and you got the nod [from the referee] you go on. You also have to understand your players.

"My personal feeling is that he was frustrated and those frustrations were deep-seated. They weren't just 'oh you ran on the pitch, you made a mistake.' To be honest with you, you do have to understand the game. He has a legitimate point."

As if Eva gets an apology and her job back, she is done.

Mou should have blamed Hazard instead of her imo but she is an idiot for that facebook post.

Social media kills your career if you dont watch out what you post on it.

Time to reconsider that back 4 I think, Mourinho has noticed it as well. Terry had a bit of a mare but he'll be fine, Hazard and Costa need to be told the season's begun.

Which one is it? I feel like this guy is contradicting himself...

Was looking at Chelsea's Roster a bit on Wikipedia and I noticed they have 24 Players out on a loan.

Theirs probably some hidden gems in there that are worth keeping instead of just Loaning them out.
