This is the team I would like to see:

MAtS

Alves Pique Mascherano Alba

Busquets

Rakitic Iniesta

Messi Suarez Neymar

Fully agree.

Let's see if City plays a defensive game against us once more. Very strange decision last year from Pellegrini to play Clichy and Kolarov on the left.

If they attack us and give us space behind the defence we should be able to score some goals. They're often unorganised when pressing, like every other BPL team.

If City play an attacking XI, their formation will be something like this
-----------Aguero---------------Dzeko----------
-------Nasri----------Toure----------Silva------
--------------------Fernandinho-------------------
---Clichy---Kompany-----Mangala---Zabaleta---
-----------------------Hart-------------------------

(Bony could start in place of Dzeko, Demichelis in place of Mangala and Fernando instead of Fernandinho). All of these players are in great form and they tore Newcastle apart 5-0 with a lineup like this. However, Pellegrini could be afraid of us and want to play a more defensive, counter-focused game, in which case he'd play something like

-----------------------Aguero---------------------
-------Milner----------Silva----------Navas------
--------------Toure---------Fernandinho--------
---Clichy---Kompany-----Mangala---Zabaleta---
-----------------------Hart-------------------------

Milner and Navas both have the workrate and pace to harass Messi and Neymar and then get in behind when Alba and Alves are bombing forward, Toure and Silva can burst from midfield and Aguero is easily their best option up top. I would probably play something like this, seems like a good balance between aggression and caution, although if Pellegrini wanted he could be even more defensive by playing Fernando instead of Silva and Toure farther forward, and even more so by replacing one of the wingers with Kolarov, although as we saw last year, that didn't really work out too well. Should be a really interesting game regardless

Oh that's right, he's banned.

Then they'll probably play Fernando and Fernandinho with Silva in front, but that's really good news for us, they've looked clueless the past few weeks while Toure was away at AFCON

Xavi can't defend, but can hold the ball much better than Iniesta at the moment.
In my opinion the third midfielder should be Don Andres, simply because I believe in him and because I think that defensively he'll help Alba much more than Xavi (which is gonna be very important knowing that we're playing this match away).

ManCity fans are pretty confident, most of them expect a win and think that we won't score.
I think that there's two possiblities concerning us ; we either step up and trash them the way we did at San Mames / Vicente Calderon or we perform the same way we did against Malaga.
Knowing the squad, I think that we're up for the best in this tie and I honnestly expect us to score at least 2 at the Etihad.
The question will be if our defense and Mats are solid enough to save us and handle their forwards.

Xavi is really too good at not giving up the ball but iniesta is the player that should be playing. Iniesta has been doing his job quite well, even though many of you cannot see it. He does a lot of work that Xavi doesn't do in defending and quickly beating a guy or two on sideline or releasing down sideline

Kompany said that they fear Stoke more than us.

Never seizes to make me laugh, Kompany is such a butthurt moron. Loved when he said that Barca didn't deserve to win the tie last year.

Even though the guy has a massive fucking head, he has a brain the size of a peanut.

Are they gonna park the bus like bitch*es or do they have enough balls to try to impose their game ?
Knowing Pellegrini , I think that they will park the bus, even in their own stadium. This is what happened last season.
