Roma are certainly stronger team than they appear. They thrashed Chelsea and bettered Atletico. But still we will crush them in the aggregate of both legs. Watch how motivated Barca players, especially Messi, Iniesta, Busquets, Pique are today. Barca are a different team when they realize their main rival of the tournament is RM. The most significant factor why we were destroyed by bottlers Juventus and Atletico last years were because we treated CL as just another la liga match. While, RM treating league like friendlies and CL tie as WC final. They live for CL. But, considering that we have already solved out leage, and also we were watching RM team winning two consecutive CL by thrashing the bottlers, we certainly won't be the same team in the last two years even if Valverde messed up with his tactics.

Semedo is back from injury and didn't have any minutes to work on his form, so I don't think he is ready for starting role. EV is so weird.

Juve are pathetically overrated team of highest order. Only miracles they staged in the last 5 years are scrapping past a messed up RM and Dybala suddenly becoming peak Pele against us. The only reason, they are serie A leaders is because other serie A teams are bundesliga quality.

Don't forget they made Tottenham appear like peak RM. The way Tottenham thrashed Juventus, many thought they would stand toe and toe with the likes of Barca and RM. But somehow they messed it in the end. And even in the last 10 minutes the match was like Bayern vs West Ham.

A team that made 2 ucl finals in 3 years isn't overrated.

The last time I remember S. Roberto starting in midfield, he was so jacked up that he dominated the game. Having both S. Roberto and Semedo on the field at the same time is definitely the best chance to defend that right corner of the defensive area. S. Roberto's best strengths in midfield are ball recovery, winning the loose balls, not losing one on one battles due to insufficient size and strength.

This is a huge opportunity for both these players. Over the next offseason, Iniesta, Gomes and Denis could all leave. Moving S. Roberto to midfield and acquiring another RB would be one way for the club to plug some of the holes from these departures.

The scenes on here if we get a bad result tonight. Never seen people so confident on here before such an important CL game. Hope it’s a good omen.
