Now that there has been time for this to soak in I am so upset. I must have been in shock at what happened before. Just an awful embarrassing effort. I think the only positive is that it happened now and not in the next round against Madrid. Shame on me for thinking that we are the only team that can knock Madrid out. If we were playing Madrid today we would have lost 10-0. So depressing. It's easy to blame the manager. Regardless of how much blame he deserves for this game, the players lost the game.

The Pique-Umtitti partnership has been one of the great strengths of the team this year. Not today, Dzeko owned them.

Iniesta showed real limitations today with his strength and energy.

Messi, Suarez, the entire offense, getting shut out by a team that up to now has not shown great defense, this is a real failure.

Bad day today. But if this team ends the year going out in the round of 8 in CL, winning Liga, winning Copa, I will congratulate them all, players and manager, for a job well done. I never would have predicted such a successful season given the timing of Neymar's departure.

He didn't make a single change while we are getting ripped apart. No tactics, nothing, just passing the ball around, a 442 that has zero pace, zero intensity and people think we can keep this up against smaller teams, let alone the big boys like Madrid or Bayern.

The players have their own strengths and weakness and EV ultimately setup very defensively so it's not the players fault. If Iniesta has limitations in this sort of setup then he should have been taken off early.

Ultimately, EV has always been tactically clueless in terms of player management. The fans and players know it.

I think that would be the last football game I watched this season, I can't bring myself to watch the rest of our games or any other games until probably when the World Cup starts in June.

Taking a break from football helps I think.

The humiliation of this is unheard of.

1) Roma are the 4th place team in Serie A. Fiortena literally came to this stadium a week ago and won.
2) Real Madrid destroyed the 1st place team in Serie A with ease at their own stadium
3) We blew a fucking 4-1 lead from the first leg.
4) We got dominated for 94 minutes. Roma were playing against us like Super Bayern did in 2013, only it's fucking Roma.
5) Valverde's tactical genius was to sub in Gomes at the 80th minute.
6) Our players mentality was as soft as baby lotion. A bunch of farmers would show more fight than they did.
7) Players and manager couldn't be bothered to care. couldn't be bothered to care that Barca have been a joke in CL in recent history. Couldn't be bothered to care that Real Madrid are dominating it and could very well claim their 3rd in a row.

I won't be celebrating the La Liga or the CDR titles if they happen. These guys don't deserve to be applauded for shit.
