Need to forget Sevilla asap and focus on PSG.
Who knows, maybe drawing tonight is blessing in disguise and spurs the team on to fight even more in Paris.

Expected lineup for PSG?

Yeah lets hope that is true,

[formation=barca,8]
Mats
0-0-Pique-0-Mathieu-0-0
Montoya-0-0-0-0-0-Alba
0-0-0-Masch-0-0-0
0-Busi>Rakitic-0-0-0-Xavi>Iniesta-0
0-0-0-0-0-0-0
Messi-0-0-Suarez-0-0-Neymar>Pedro
0-0-0-0-0-0-0
[/formation]

Lucho will definitely try to approach the game with a conservatively, rakitic ahead of xavi is equally possible. Later in the match Iniesta and Rakitic will come on for xavi and busi. Pedro for neymar.

Players who don't usually get the start. Here you go, it's better now?
The reserve players are not that, sorry.

They are players from the reserve team, not players from the A team.

Players benched amongs the A team are not reserve players.

Reserve: 6. a. A group of players that play only as substitutes for starters in games or are kept from playing for some reason.

That's what I said.

cabaye and VdW are not reserve players.

Play FM if you don't know what the reserve is.

reserve players are not players included in the A team by default.

Reserve players also means substitutes. Don't get so worked up because of a term which has multiple meanings.

I don't get worked up.

Cabaye and the like that are players part of the rotation of the A team are not players from the reserve.

It's like saying mathieu for Barca when he was benched was a reserve player, he was not.

If you don't trust me it's ok too. I'll shut up if you dislike me stating this.

Cabaye, Rabiot and others are players that don't get to play in these games if not forced to put them in. That makes them reserves IMO, as in the players the coach goes to if the other, BETTER members of the team are unable to play.

I would call Montoya, Rafinha and others reserve players for Barca, as in back-up players. In the end, it's just semantics, not even worth of an argument really.

Nope, Rabiot and Cabaye are fully part of the A team and in the rotation when not injured.

For big games, the coach choose his best eleven, that doesn't mean those who are not part of that 11 are from the reserve. Those two play regulary when not injured.

Augustin for example, is from the reserve team.

As I said, did you ever play to FM?

I can vouch the reserve in the game is exactly how it works in France.

And I believe it's the same in other countries too.

And I can vouch I've heard numerous times the term reserve used for players that are more often than not substitutes. If Cabaye is not usually a starter for PSG, than he can be called a reserve, or a substitute. Even if it's maybe an unorthodox term, it's still within it's meaning.

By reserve, I don't mean players from the 2nd team. As in players for Barca B in Barca's case. I mean players who don't usually see the big action when others are ready to play.

No, I don't do Football Manager.

So no Ibra, Verrati, Luiz, Motta and Aurier for the first leg, I really hope players won't relax thinking that it'll be easy.

Sirigu

Vdw - Silva-Marquinhos - Maxwell

Matuidi - Rabiot - Cabaye

Pastore Cavani Lavezzi

Pastore will be in there for sure. Lucas as well. Not a weak side by any means. We have to bring on our A game if we want to progress.
