imo the best thing for this team is to drop out into Europa league and play the youngsters with less pressure. We aren't winning the CL and it's tiresome watching the same culprits fuck up vs Europes elite.. I can't even get excited about these games anymore, thats how far we've fallen.

Don't think it's about training or culture. We just lack the proper players. We recruited abysmally trying to move on from the old core and we ended up still playing them. We have no proper wingers with speed or trickery.

That's the thing though, if we all fans see the problem, but team keeps signing slow players/wingers like Trincao, Luuk De Jong etc. Who the fuck is doing scouting for this team? Don't they see we lack speed in fucking every position to play this game 2021??!?!?!

This is what I have a very difficult time understanding when we played vs them in 2020 and now. Why do we look so tired while they seem like they could push two more gears? for 2015 ive watched both legs multiple times and you can see us pushing them and countering when they dared to press high with pep ball. We would sprint up and down the pitch and not once did I see Alba, Alves, Rakitic, Messi, and Neymar gasping for air. It feels like Lucho had the players on a totally different fitness regime than any of the later coaches.

We have had many crops of players come and go without success. To me it is a club culture thing, like what Ageuro said about players not showing up early enough before training compared to City, like what Firpo said about video analysis, like what Coutinho (?) or some other players said about our training sessions etc. compared to other club's. We are just too fucking laid back, in my opinion, from probably the sporting director, to the manager and the entire coaching stuff to the players.

We probably need more people like Setien's Sarabia or however you spell his name to kick some butts here.

In terms of money, being top-4 in EL is still as good as finishing in the group stage of CL or maybe even better money-wise.. Europe League, please. We stand a chance.
