No one wants to come here get it through your heads

Setien was 4th choice, Koeman was 5th choice, and that was WITH MESSI SUAREZ, who the fuck wants to come to this shit show.

Even Xavi refused us twice and he's in fucking Qatar of all places

This club is in CRISIS

We didn't chase anyone, because we kept wanting to bring in easy to work with managers for the veterans. You can't moan you can't attract big names when you don't even try and run a player-power to the max, highly politicized club.

Yep sell all former world class players so we are left with overhyped kids.

How to end up as Spanish Arsenal 101

Can't wait for Deulofeu, Bojan, Alena, Samper to light up Europe!!!

The Sarabia lad got cucked by the amigos. There needs to be quite literally a brand new slate/new canvas for the club: No remnants of 2015 that means everyone is out of the club from that era even MATS. Youngsters would listen to a coach like that and be willing to try new fitness and diet regimes. Lucho doesn't get enough credit for this.

I thought RK would be that coach but even he is willingly playing the likes of Roberto and Busi day in day out.
You are so stupid. Yes, the ''amigos" are past it. But what comes after them it s no better. Easy to see, but for stupid people like you it s so hard.

That's bullshit, it's well documented we chased top targets and got turned down each time.

Even this time around Laprota wanted Pep, Flick, Naggelsman and was turned down by each one and who knows who else

Have to move on eventually, even if it's with current youngsters and some utility players. Without amigos we are still a top 4 LL team. Have fun watching Roberto, Alba, Pique, and Busquets for another two seasons. I am sure you will enjoy it smarty pants.

No surprise, that was precisely what watching the game told us
No illusions that this beaten squad with a few players out could be more competitive

Some random thoughts:
1) I won't write anything about Sergi Roberto, but he should consider retiring next summer along Busi and Pique
It's a disgrace to see this guy wearing the Barca shirt anymore
2) Araujo a level above everyone else on defending, even when he had to drag himself too far out right.
Pair this guy with the right people, and our infamous defense will not look less shaky
3) Balde looks really really promising.
I am happy that Alba will not play a few games so we can see him more at LB
4) Demir is not a wing-back, please
5) Coutinho should start the next LL games, he looked determined the few minutes he played
Luuk is only a last 10 min sub to win a header

AS for the rest, it's pretty much this:

We have had many crops of players come and go without success. To me it is a club culture thing, like what Ageuro said about players not showing up early enough before training compared to City, like what Firpo said about video analysis, like what Coutinho (?) or some other players said about our training sessions etc. compared to other club's. We are just too fucking laid back, in my opinion, from probably the sporting director, to the manager and the entire coaching stuff to the players.

We probably need more people like Setien's Sarabia or however you spell his name to kick some butts here.

Culture does not change midnight.
It's a long and painful process.
Once the bad crop of the Amigo culture is completely out of the squad, things will improve

High-office positions are of lesser importance once you get past the transfer and contracts stuff. On team issues, the manager is the boss. The teams are built based on his vision (or lack thereof), his obsessions, his demands.

That's the whole idea. We need to get rid of the tendency to sign managers that will adapt to how we do things, and adapt things based on what that manager desires. For this to happen you have to either acquire a world-class manager among the biggest, most established names, or you need to discover one.

Setien and Sarabia were not good enough obviously, but they did have a vision and they did have an initial commitment to implement it. But once that was faced with adversity from board / amigo side, it all vanished very easily.

Not going to happen. We are the victim of of our own success, or our legacy. Everybody from the president down to the manager, whoever they are, insist that we need to play the so-called Cruyffist football which has morphed into the moniker for our slow-assed football for the past many years, unjustly. The president will continue to impose this on any manager that will come, and it will end up confining him.

It s not only their fault we lost today in this manner. We just are very shit, seniors or not.Pedri is overhyped, Depay too...our only world class player is Frenkie de Yong.

Loosing is not the problem.

But When you are trying to re-build around a talentless overhyped young generation you know it's fucked up.

Thats not the point. We know the kids are worse than amigos, but kids might have a future. Amigos are only going downhill 100%.
