CL Round 2: Bayern Munchen - FC Barcelona 2-0

Xavi plays favourites: Ferran and Busi they should NEVER play in a big match ever.
Xavi is exhausting Pedri and Pedri will be injured soon like last year.
Xavi is too set in his ways to be creative when he should be.
Lewi is past his prime.
Raphina is not that good.
Busi is finished.
Ferran is trash.
Ansu needs to start and play 90 minutes in every EVERY big game.

Bayern are nowhere near as good as they have been in the past.
RM win because of mentality and belief not talent.

Some positives from tonight. We were the better team, deserved at least a draw, but it is what it is.

Lewa the biggest disappointment tonight. If he wants to be held in the same breath like other great strikers, you have to score at least one chance from tonight.

A lot of positives. However one thing our players (minus Pedri), especially our wingers Dembele and Raphinha massively need to improve on, don't give the ball away easily. Something Bayern wingers don't do nearly as much.

Congratulations to topt We played a great 1st half and lost the marbles 2nd half. Hopefully, Lewa and co. can find their shooting boots in the Camp Nou game

Did Iniesta or Xavi ever collapse like Pedri did tonight?

You trolling isn't welcome here, idiot.

Anyhow, played the better match overall and should've put them on back foot in the first half. It seems as what someone said - stil the rebuild and getting the chemistry together phase, where we can't expect to smash everybody like MSN times. Much better overall team play than i expected though. Ad and actual DM, who can run and harass the opposition in the midfield, instead of Gavi and CBs doing all the work, and we will be even more formidable. Bayern got Real level of luck also, both with missed chances of ours and clear penalty being forgiven. Move on.

Sorry Barca friends. Unfair result in the end. You've got one hell of a team which I think will just get better as the season goes on. Unlucky tonight but more than a chance to still take the group IMO.

A true game of 2 halves, hopefully we can take our chances at the Camp nou.

Have to say that none of them were clear cut, always under pressure and from awkward positions, but i was hoping he would rise his level and score something impossible. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. Pedri is more at fault here for not converting really clear cut chances although at least we can commend him for getting them by clever movement and interplays.
If Lewy continues his inability to score in key matches thought then he will certainly drop out of my all time top 10 strikers list as elegant as he may be against bottom feeders.

Xavi: "Our marking in the corner was very bad, and we should have fouled the runner in the play for the second goal. They stop the game and we don't. That is what competing means."
It's called experience. I expected the worst. And now we have to smash them at the Camp Nou.

thanks, was really surprised by Barca today; could have gone either way.

Best chance of the game was Lewas, when he didn't even get it on target. Pedri also created another great chance for Lewa, there is no way he is more at fault for this result than Lewa.

First chances was a perfect pass from Gavi. Was Lewas own fault it became an akward finish, his first touch was quite poor.

This was the type of game where the result could've gone the opposite way had it been at the Camp Nou. Sometimes things just don't go your way in away games even when you play well.
