He's just looking out for his own interests... The decision to stay or leave is only Bravo's...

It surely is Bravo's decision, but the guy is surely gonna try to push him to leave if Bravo doesn't end up as starter which is inevitable tbf.

I don't really like this Sampaoli lad, he talks too much publicly about things that do not concern him directly.

I'm pretty sure that he's the one encouraging Alexis to leave ( he made a statement during the WC saying that Alexis couldn't express his full potential in Barca and that he should probably leave.)

You can't really blame him for telling the truth...

Some quotes by him from RAC1:

- "Valdés? At Sociedad I was in the shadow of Arconada. Those are images of great keepers, but it's motivating."
- "At Barcelona the GK role is a lot like playing as CB."
- "It's clear that Ter Stegen was bought before me, but you can also look at who it was that wanted to buy me."
- "I'm calm because it's the technical staff who wanted me. Who will start? I always think I will play."

The last two statements are a strange thing to say, adds pressure and will only make him look stupid if he ends up on the bench. He clearly thinks he'll start though, hopefully will be disappointed in the end.

I think he shot himself in the foot there with those comments. Not sure whether the staff will like that.

Him and his entourage's constant harping on about the number one position is becoming tedious and loathsome. If he was as confident in his own abilities as he claims to be there wouldn't be any need for all the extra bravado. In reality, all it does is make him come across as nervous about what is likely the beginning of life as a back up.

Jeez, that's......... unprofessional, to say the least. You'd think his ego would deflate after that howler against Napoli. Publicly coming out with the whole "technical staff wanted me" crap is like him trying to paint the image like he's the favored one out of the keepers. Should be shutting his mouth and working in a disciplined manner rather than spouting nonsense to put himself on a pedestal "blah blah #1 for Chile and Real Sociedad, blah blah never been a backup and technical staff wants me".

What a moron. The season hasn't even started and he's trying to burn bridges with his teammates. How hard is it to get paid millions and stay professional?

I see what you did there.

It's good to see Bravo motivated to be a starter, it's a huge upgrade from Pinto who was just happy being part of the squad. That said, he should start with performing on the pitch because so far he's played one game which we lost thanks to an enormous blunder.

Ditto, no need to come up with that barcaforum-style reasoning if he was 100% sure he would be a starter  Sounds like he is trying to calm himself down.

Too cocky. I dont even know why, after that blunder. Or, now that he saw MAtS, he's seen he is better and is afraid. Really stupid comments.

I'm getting vibes of Rustu from Bravo. At least Bravo speaks Spanish. I fully expect one of Masip/Blanco/Suarez/Ondoa/Ortola to replace Bravo as backup keeper in a couple years.
