Zubi: "Bravo isn't Enrique's signing, he's Barca's"
The sporting director disagreed with the Chilean goalkeeper's words
Sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta contradicted the words of Claudio Bravo, who said he felt like he was a signing of Luis Enrique.
"
The signings are not Luis Enrique's or mine, they are Barca's. All additions have had my OK and I am responsible for those that have gone well and those that haven't," he said at Luis Suarez's press conference.
"It reassures me that [Luis Enrique] asked to sign me," the Chilean had explained in an interview with Rac1.
"Who will start? I always think that I will play.
"It is true that Ter Stegen arrived first, but you can also see who it was that brought me here."
About the Uruguayan striker, Suarez, Zubizarreta commented that he "can play from both sides of the attack" and recalled that Suarez "is used to the high demands and pressures."
Zubizarreta also said that Suarez was "the first choice" after the club sold Alexis Sanchez.
