Claudio Bravo

I'm getting vibes of Rustu from Bravo. At least Bravo speaks Spanish. I fully expect one of Masip/Blanco/Suarez/Ondoa/Ortola to replace Bravo as backup keeper in a couple years.

I think it will be Ondoa. He seems very decent.

Zubi: "Bravo isn't Enrique's signing, he's Barca's"

The sporting director disagreed with the Chilean goalkeeper's words

Sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta contradicted the words of Claudio Bravo, who said he felt like he was a signing of Luis Enrique.

"The signings are not Luis Enrique's or mine, they are Barca's. All additions have had my OK and I am responsible for those that have gone well and those that haven't," he said at Luis Suarez's press conference.

"It reassures me that [Luis Enrique] asked to sign me," the Chilean had explained in an interview with Rac1.
"Who will start? I always think that I will play.
"It is true that Ter Stegen arrived first, but you can also see who it was that brought me here."

About the Uruguayan striker, Suarez, Zubizarreta commented that he "can play from both sides of the attack" and recalled that Suarez "is used to the high demands and pressures."
Zubizarreta also said that Suarez was "the first choice" after the club sold Alexis Sanchez.

He didn't have to do almost anything against Elche but he was a bit hesitant with the ball on his feet one or two times and I've noticed he passes too slowly and without power the ball to the defenders that are close to him unlike VV for example... Didn't like that at all. He seemed a bit too relaxed too for his debut but that isn't necessarily a bad thing.

He's getting the hang of things... I can bet he has never played a game like today, in which he didn't have to touch the ball with his hands...

I really didn't like what I saw there(starts at 1:18):

His instinct was to run backwards to the goal line, instead of towards the ball, to narrow the player's angle to shoot. He only came forward after Masch's tackle.

Well to be fair he looked like he was on the penalty spot to start with, if he started to run out to the play he would have been chipped easily
